SUBJECT MATTER

It is within the artist's rights to refuse any illustration commission for any reason. If you are unsure whether or not your commission concept fits within established guidelines, please email contact@fantasyfigments.com to discuss your request.

Some banned subject matter includes:
-Pornographic content (mild nudity allowed at artist's discretion)

-Political content

-Derogatory content

-Fan art (characters from published TTRPG settings may be accepted)

 

PAYMENT

-Payment is through PayPal in the form of an invoice sent to client’s email as provided.
-Work will be started on the commission once payment has been received as agreed upon by the commissioner and artist.
-If the commissioner wishes to cancel a commission, the refunded amount will be determined by how much work has been completed. The commissioner will receive what has been completed up until the point of refund but is not permitted to pass any partially completed works on to another artist.
-Commissions are non-refundable once the sketch has been given official approval by the commissioner and the artist has begun working on lines/color/shading.
-If the commissioner wishes edits to be made to the image outside of the original scope, additional charges will apply.
-All prices listed are estimates and are subject to change without notice at the artist’s discretion. This includes, but is not limited to: discounts, holiday/event specials, price reduction, and price increase. These changes are not applicable to current paid contracts or once price quote has been given by the artist to the commissioner based on provided details remaining unchanged.
-By paying the artist, the commissioner understands they will be agreeing to receive digital goods in the form of image files, no physical artwork will be provided.

IMAGE RIGHTS
-The artist reserves the right to display any commissioned image(s) on any of their websites, social media accounts, or portfolios.
-Final images provided to the commissioner by the artist will include two digital files: one (1) PDF version with artist’s signature only (suitable for printing) and one (1) JPEG version with artist’s signature and watermark (to be used when sharing online).
-The commissioner is allowed to upload commission(s) created for them to an online gallery provided that credit to the artist is given by name and the image that is displayed contains the artist’s watermark.
-The commissioner must not claim completed work as their own.
-The commissioner is not permitted to edit the artist’s work in any way including, but not limited to: recoloring, editing, tracing, and/or removing any artist’s signature/watermark.
-Under no circumstances may the commissioner use commissioned image(s) for commercial or profit purposes, including but not limited to: prints and redistribution of the commissioned image(s) for anything other than personal use, selling the artwork in any way shape or form, using the artwork as a business logo, using the artwork to promote a business/book/website, etc. unless previously established with the artist for an adjusted commercial price rate.

-Under no circumstances may the commissioner use image(s) created during the commission process for training of AI (Artificial Intelligence) of any kind or in the minting or sale of any NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

REVISIONS
-The commissioner will receive a sketch to review and will be permitted up to two (2) revisions to it, after which time the artwork will be fully rendered by the artist and sent to the commissioner for the final review process [Note: Reviews not received in a timely manner may result in a delay of delivery of the final product due to scheduled work].
-The commissioner will be permitted one (1) optional final minor revision such as color adjustments (if applicable).
-Additional fees and deadline delay may be applicable for major changes requested (such as pose, wardrobe, props, effects, etc.) after the final review process has begun.
